Is the backpack comfortable?
Enjoy your hike with this comfortable bag! The back of the bag, with its two foam pads, adapts to your body shape. The padded shoulder straps take the strain off your shoulders, and the thumb loops provide an extra bit of comfort. What about the chest strap? It stabilises your load for freedom of movement.
What to pack in your backpack
It has five pockets, and so everything is within easy reach in this clever bag: a large compartment for your essentials, two zipped pockets for your valuables and two bottle holders to keep you hydrated. Your 15-inch laptop even has its own dedicated space.
Is this backpack waterproof?
This backpack is water repellent. In other words, it repels raindrops when it is raining lightly. But don't ask too much of it: it is not waterproof either. Intense downpours will eventually get through it. Need extra protection? Use our 10–20 l rain cover (ref. 8772113).
Is this backpack durable?
The components are designed to withstand the demands of walking outdoors. This is why we test the durability of the materials and the resistance of the bag, nothing is left to chance. We even simulate your adventures with our hiker testers!

- Put heavy equipment at the bottom of the rucksack
- Place clothes around it
-Keep your waterproof jacket and/or fleece within easy reach
- In the pockets, put the small items you will need during the day (sun cream, map, glasses, etc.).

Test product
Our design team imagines, creates and designs the Quechua products at the foot of the Mont Blanc, in France. We test them in the field with other hikers to make sure that they are comfortable and durable. This backpack has been tested and improved by hikers in different climatic conditions and different environments.

This bag was designed with the help of many customer reviews as well as the comments of hikers. It has been tested and approved by a panel of about 100 hikers hiking in the Haute-Savoie region. In order to fulfil your requirements, Quechua products are tested in the countryside. Our teams, as well as a tester panel (made up of partners, ambassadors and customers), test products throughout their development until they go to market.
