TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS
Why does a fleece keep you warm?
The fleece, with its plush surface known as "brushed fleece", can trap air. Thanks to the fleece’s natural insulating properties, it conserves body heat. The added benefit of this fleece is its high collar, which keeps your neck warm.
HOW IS WARMTH MEASURED?
We carry out two types of thermal testing: on the fleece materials and with a thermal manikin in a climate chamber. These tests imitate the mountain conditions that you may encounter and help us to verify our designs. The comfort temperature of this jacket is between 7 and 10°C.
Why a breathable fleece?
The fleece is made with a breathable material. It can effectively wick away perspiration while keeping you warm. This means you stay dry and comfortable even if you are doing intense exercise.
What is the fit of this fleece jacket?
This fleece jacket is fitted without being too tight. For optimal protection from the cold, we recommend wearing a technical base layer underneath. The jacket fits perfectly under our windproof and waterproof jackets. Select your usual size.
Resistance tested?
We test the durability of our fleeces by checking that:
- carrying a backpack or moving your arms does not cause the jackets to wear in order to delay pilling;
- The durability of the seams;
- the material maintains its quality after several washes;
- the colours are preserved (washing, UV, sweat).
What sizes are available?
This fleece is available in a range of sizes, from XS to 3 XL.
How to look after your fleece?
To machine wash your fleece without damaging it, choose a 40° max programme. Turn it inside out before putting it in the washing machine. Don't exceed a 1000 rpm spin speed to protect the fabric. Do not tumble dry.
